Qualification for Technical Training Programme (TTP)
Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics after a B.Sc degree OR M.Tech after a B.Sc degree with Physics as a subject OR an Integrated M.Sc., B.E./B.Tech. in Engg. Physics is also eligible, provided it is a minimum of 4 years curriculum after Class XII
Discipline : Physics
Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.), provided it is a minimum 4 years curriculum after Class XII in the appropriate discipline. M.Sc. in Materials Science can apply for Metallurgy/Material Science

On successful completion of the training, the trainees will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer-SC at IPR or ITER-India
Stipend & Pay Scale : Rs. 16000/- and a one-time book allowance of Rs. 10000/-, On successful completion of the training, the trainees will be appointed as Scientist / Engineer-SC at IPR or ITER-India with a Basic Pay of Rs. 21000 in the Pay Band – 3 (i.e.Rs.15600-39100) and Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-.
Age Limit Those candidates who are born on or after 1st September 1985 need apply

Indian Oil needs 300 engineers in 2011 through GATE-2011


Applications are invited for the position of Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)  for those who are appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineers (GATE) 2011 :


  • Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) : 300 posts in  the disciplines of Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical/ Matallurgical, Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering degree examinations with 65% marks (relaxation to pass class for SC/ST/PH)  from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes. Candidates currently in final year of their engineering studies may also apply, Age :  Maximum 26 years as on 30th June, 2011, relaxation as per rules., Pay : Candidates selected as GAEs for one-year apprenticeship training will be paid consolidated stipend  Rs.20000/- per month and Engineers/Officers Rs.24900/- per month. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship training, they may be appointed as engineers.

  1. Chemical Engineering (Including Petrochemicals engineering) 
  2. Civil Engineering (excluding Construction/ Transportation engineering)

  6. Metallurgical Engineering How to apply :  The candidates will receive their GATE-2011 registration number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply in IndianOil on-line between 10/01/2011 and 12/02/2011.
